(Buddha's Birthday)

​Vesak is one of the most important Buddhist festivals. It is also known as Vesak or Buddha Day. It is a celebration of Buddha's birthday and for some Buddhists, marks his  enlightenment (when he discovered the life's meaning). It is also a time to reflect on his teachings and what it means to be Buddhist.

It is a time to  engage in various activities such as offering alms to monks, chanting sutras, and performing acts of kindness and charity. It is a time for reflection, meditation, and spreading messages of peace, compassion, and enlightenment, in honor of the teachings and legacy of the Buddha.
