Not sure what to make for the next retreat?  Some DWMS members have contributed a few of our favorite recipes to help you in your decision -- all you need to do is add Metta and mindfulness. Most recipes reflect our tendency towards (spicy) Sri Lankan, Indian and Thai cuisine. All recipes are either vegetarian or vegan.

Dal is an excellent source of protein for a balanced diet containing little or no meat. The main ingredient of dals is either lentils, beans, or peas.  In South Asia, dals are typically served with rice and vegetables.
